The Collaborative Turn.

This lecture at Harvard’s School of Design is one of my favorite talks about cross pollination between contemporary art and fashion. As a long time fan of Raf Simons (his early aesthetic embraced 90’s youth subcultures associated with hardcore techno music), I found this collaboration with Sterling Ruby to be one of the most natural, sincere, and innovative in the realm of contemporary art and fashion.

One of my goals for 2020 is to step out of my comfort zone and develop friendships and unusual artistic collaborations that foster the crossing of disciplinary boundaries.

My goal for the last month of 2019? Explore mathematics and computer science. I’ve recently enrolled in a Mathematics class exploring Game Theory at Stanford University. I’m already laughing and crying…
